SUGAR PLUM KYLIE; Pop pixie films a special dance for ballet show in her mum's homeland.
Byline: STEPHEN WHITEKYLIE Minogue will add another string to her bow next week when she appears as a ballet dancer.
And the multi-talented singer's latest skills will be unveiled in Wales - in honour of the pop diva's Welsh mother.
Kylie agreed to appear as a guest artist in the ballet show after its Spanish choreographer, Rafael Bonachela, worked on her 2002 Fever World Tour.
Rafael piled praise on the Aussie beauty's talents, saying: "She's an amazing performer, quite unique, and that's why I decided to work with her."
Film of Kylie dancing will be used as the centrepiece of a sequence in the show, entitled 21. The score also includes an electronic version of her singing.
The ballet performed by the Rambert Dance Company will showcase at the Clwyd Theatr Cymru theatre in Mold.
Rafael said: "It was the company's choice to premiere the work in Wales. Kylie's mother is Welsh.
"The dance is divided into three sections of seven minutes and in the middle there is a seven- minute film of Kylie dancing to my choreography, and other dancers as well.
"There's a screen in front, as if you're watching a film, and the dance is behind. Then there are Kylie's vocals."
Kylie said: "I feel honoured to be welcomed into Rafael's world of dance."
