SUBURBAN FEDERAL EXPECTS TO CLOSE STOCK OFFERING

 CINCINNATI, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Suburban Federal Savings Bank, Cincinnati, is pleased to announce that it expects to complete its conversion to stock form on or about Sept. 30, 1993.
 The subscription offering expired on Sept. 14, 1993, and the conversion will close after receipt of approval from the Office of Thrift Supervision. It is anticipated that such approval will be received in time for the conversion to close on or about Sept. 30, 1993.
 Trading of the stock will begin promptly thereafter under the symbol "SBCN."
 In light of the number of orders received, in accordance with Suburban Federal's plan of conversion, only stock orders received from depositors of record on Feb. 28, 1993 ("The Eligibility Record Date"), are expected to receive all or a portion of the shares requested.
