ISG is indeed proud of Sneha K C who clinched the Championship Trophy for the International Speech Category and Amisha Mehta and Adveetiya Ganti who secured the first runners-up and second runners-up positions, respectively for the Evaluation Speech Category in Oman Gavel Public Speaking Championship held on February 2 at Indian School Wadi Kabir.

Out of a total of 24 contenders for the four categories from ISG Gavel Clubs, 19 Gaveliers secured the first, second and third positions in the semi finals. Five Gaveliers, Sneha K C, Suyog Suhas Bhat, Subodh Satish Dalve, Amisha Mehta and Adveeteeya Ganti advanced to the finals. The students did a great job showcasing their public speaking and critical thinking skills developed through club sessions wherein they have been trained by their counsellors to achieve excellence.

This public speaking contest which brought together 34 Gavel clubs represented by 272 Gaveliers showcased the public speaking talents of the young members. It has not only raised the self-confidence of each individual in the club to a new speaking level but also enhanced their leadership skills.
