NEW YORK, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange announced today that Struthers Industries Inc. of Tulsa, Okla., began trading 1,394,877 shares of common stock. Trading under ticker symbol SIR, the stock opened on 600 shares at 3-5/8.
Struthers Industries, formerly known as Struthers Oil & Gas Corp., recently expanded its operations with the acquisition of Peacock Engineering. Through this acquisition, the company is engaged in the manufacture of landing gear components, hydraulic actuators and flight control system components used for military and commercial aircraft. The company's oil and gas operations presently represent a much smaller part of their business.
