STOELZLE-OBERGLAS, USA, INC.
Stoelzle-Oberglas has been a leading manufacturer of fine glassware since 1806 when its German plant was founded. The headquarters are located in Austria and consist of six plants which produce many different products of white flint and amber glass. In 1996, Stoelzle-Oberglas took over Lausitzer Glaswerke, which produces crystalline glassware in Germany. The new plant allowed Stoelzle-Oberglas to widen their range of products and to be even more competitive in different markets. Both plants are equipped with three different production lines with three different technologies. This enables Stoelzle-Oberglas to produce many different types of products without any change in output or quality. In 1997, Stoelzle-Oberglas brought its operation into the U.S. by opening a warehouse/distribution center in Charleston, S.C. Today, the Stoelzle-Oberglas name is known worldwide for its craftsmanship, quality, and durability in glassware.
Stoelzle-Oberglas combines exceptional glassblowing skills with modern technology to produce exquisite machine-made lead-free crystal, which is available in many lines and styles. The lines include: Toscana, Koenig, Vinea, Sommelier, Milano, Pares, Baronessa, and Nordkap.
The Viol line of crystal provides high-class products for tableware and gift purposes. Innovative design combined with production methods has boosted Viol into many markets with success.
A new revolutionary concept in dinnerware is Bopla. It is recognized as the new growing brand name and with its wide variety of colors and designs, a dream table can be created. Bopla is as strong and durable as it is decorative and can be used safely in the microwave, oven, and dishwasher.
