STOBART Group, which operates a multi-modal logistics hub at Runcorn and a distribution business from Warrington, has moved from the FT Small Cap index to the FTSE 250 Index, based on the group's market capitalisation of pounds 218m. Chief executive Andrew Tinkler said: "I am delighted that the progress we have made in developing the group since its listing on the London Stock Exchange little more than one year ago has been reflected in our promotion to the FTSE 250 Index."
