STI APPOINTS GLENN WICKES JR. V.P., PHARMACEUTICAL OPERATIONS

 ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Survival Technology, Inc. (STI) (NASDAQ-NMS: STIQ) announced today Glenn Wickes Jr. has joined the company as vice president, pharmaceutical operations. He will be responsible for all activities at STI's manufacturing complex in St. Louis, including production, operations, quality assurance, and research and development.
 Wickes has over 20 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical management including manufacturing, product development, engineering, quality assurance, research and development and finance. He was previously executive vice president of Duoject Medical Systems and has held senior executive positions with Adria Sterile Products, Summa Manufacturing Corporation and Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc.

 Wickes holds a degree in pharmacy and a masters of business administration.
