STEVIE: STRIKERS WILL STURR IT UP.
STEVEN GERRARD reckons Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge will fire England to next summer's World Cup.
Manchester United's Rooney and Kop kid Sturridge both missed England's double header against Moldova and Ukraine last month - Rooney suffering from a gashed head and Sturridge with a thigh problem.
But both strikers are firing on all cylinders ahead of the Wembley double header with Montenegro and Poland.
Liverpool and Three Lions skipper Gerrard said: "I'm glad Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge will be available for us after missing the last two games because they are players that can make an awful lot of difference to the squad.
"Every opposition will have their tricky players and Montenegro and Poland will have their match winners as well - but we will have the better match winners, I tell you that!
"Those two games are about us. We are at Wembley and the onus is on us to win against Montenegro and Poland.
"We can't ask for any more but to be at Wembley with 90,000 there behind us and we'll have more players to pick from, especially in the final third, so everything is positive. Hopefully everyone stays fit, but certainly the confidence and the belief is there.
"It will be tense and I'm sure it will go to the wire - but that all adds to the fun. The games are not two gimmes, we still have to put in good performances."
