STEVEN E. HEYDT NAMED PRESIDENT OF NEW TRAVEL COMPANY

 PEARL RIVER, N.Y., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven E. Heydt has been appointed president of Active Travel Services, a new company of Active International, Inc. The appointment was announced by Alan Elkin, CEO of the Pearl River-based international trading organization.
 Mr. Heydt is a 25-year travel industry executive. Prior to joining the Active International group, he held various posts in sales, marketing and operations for Lib/Go Travel, Inc., Liberty Travel & Go-Go Tours. These organizations are regarded as the leading leisure travel providers in the United States. As senior vice president for sales and marketing, he innovated air-inclusive packages for airline in-house tour programs as well as developed significant cooperative marketing/advertising campaigns. Mr. Heydt also capitalized on the financial resources of multiple partners in promotions and has strong relationships with all major destinations and tourism officials.
