 STEVE D. BULLOCK ELECTED TO NATIONAL CITY BANK'S
 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 CLEVELAND, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Steve D. Bullock, chief executive officer and chapter manager of the American Red Cross - Greater Cleveland Chapter, has been elected to the board of directors of National City Bank.
 "We are pleased to have Mr. Bullock join our board and look forward to having the benefit of his experience and leadership," said David A. Daberko, chairman and chief executive officer of National City Bank.
 Bullock was appointed chief executive officer of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross on January 18, 1982. He was previously executive director of the St. Paul Chapter and manager of the Minnesota-Wisconsin Division.
 He has been with the American Red Cross since 1962, and began his career serving at military installations in the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, and in the Eastern Field Office in Alexandria, Virginia.
 In 1988, he was named chairman of the President's Advisory Committee, a group of senior Red Cross field executives, which counsels top national Red Cross management on issues facing the organization.
 Bullock earned his bachelor of arts degree in history and sociology at Virginia Union University and a master's degree in business administration at the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He has also done graduate work in urban administration at Georgia State University, attended the American Red Cross Executive Development Institute at Northwestern University, and is a graduate of Leadership Cleveland.
 He currently serves as President of the Board of Education of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District. Bullock is a member of the Association of MBA Executives, American Management Association, American Society for Training and Development, NAACP, Urban League, the Heights Concerned Parents Association, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
