PlayStation 4, Xbox One/360 PC. Out Now
Not to be outdone by Driveclub and Forza Horizon 2, Ubisoft offers up its own racer for next-gen consoles.
The Crew has epic scope and an incredible amount of content, as it gets gamers revved up for an open-world, open-road racer. There are some lovely cars to choose including Chevvies, Ferraris, Maserati and Lamborghini.
The story mode is a bit flat but completing races rewards you with gold, silver or bronze upgrades. The same is true of the challenges littered through your journey.
Racing across the US is fun alone but this game is designed for co-op. The always-online requirement is risky but allows you to pop into races with others. Pretty, but is not in the same league as Forza Horizon 2. ****
POLK HINGE HEADSETS
With all the bulky, brightlycoloured and in-your-face heaphones available on the market it's nice to see some which are stylish in their simplicity yet able to offer incredible audio quality.
The Polk Hinge on-ear headphones do exactly that. The plush earpads allow for exceptional comfort and the design of the simple headband means it's easy to fold the headset neatly when travelling.
Outside noise is brilliantly muffled and the Polk Optimised Electro-acoustic Tuning means that sound is crisp and clear along with a bass that does not get distorted when you crank up the music level. A classy look and sound without feeling the need to shout about it.

BASTILLE V GRADES
Torn Apart. 99p, itunes.com
Led by Dan Smith's smooth vocals, the quartet has experimented with an up-beat rock-electro sound on this huge first single from their upcoming mixtape.
III. PS8.99, itunes.com
The trio's first album release since 2010 is a feelgood, footstomping affair. It's also one of Amazon's most pre-ordered albums of all time, and loyal fans are sure to be thrilled.
LARA CROFT AND THE TEMPLE OF OSIRIS
PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC. Out Tuesday
Lovely Lara Croft returns for another brilliant outing in this platform action adventure. This time, one of the video game world's greatest protagonists is in a temple in Egypt.
Along with fellow treasure hunter Carter Bell, Lara is joined by the gods Horus and Isis. Lara must uncover the fragments of Osiris to stop the evil Set from enslaving mankind. The game is set up as a four-player co-op where each character has unique skills.
You must work together to use these in order to solve puzzles, safely traverse difficult environments and defeat the bad guys.
Visually the game is splendid and the mechanics run smoothly. The end-of-level bosses are gigantic and gloriously challenging. Its predecessor, Guardian of Light, was absolutely fantastic and it was unlikely any follow-up would come close to it.
However, Crystal Dynamics has matched this quality. A hidden treasure.
