STATORDYNE CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

 ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- James M. Moore, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Statordyne Corp. announced today the appointment of Bruce R. Peasland and chief financial officer.
 Peasland, 48, was most recently business manager and chief financial officer of MacGillivray Freeman Films Inc., a film production and distribution company heaquartered in Laguna Beach, Calif. During his tenure at MacGillivray Freeman, he was responsible for reorganizing and improving the productivity of the company's accounting systems and the year-end audit preparation. Prior to that, Peasland served as vice president of Finance and Administration for Control Components Inc., a unit of IMI PLC. Peasland has also been employed with British Petroleum Advanced Composites, Lear Siegler Inc. and The Gillette Co. Peasland received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and his J.D. from Western State University.
 Statordyne Corp., headquartered in Anaheim, is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of a line of proprietary products for the power quality, standby and no-break power service industries. Statordyne has an exclusive license on a patented power quality enhancement and generation technology that will protect power sensitive facilities such as hospitals, telecommunications centers, automated factories and data processing sites against short duration electrical power disturbances and long-term outages of utility power.
