PHOENIX, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- StatesWest Airlines Inc.

reported October 1992 passenger enplanements were 28,866, compared to 34,184 for October 1991. The carrier's October 1992 traffic capacity was 9,954,933 available seat miles (ASM) producing a load factor for that period of 43.1 percent. ASMs for October 1991 totaled 12,680,017, producing a load factor for that period of 45.7 percent. Revenue passenger miles were 4,285,850, compared to the October 1991 figure of 5,790,247.
Rudy R. Miller, chairman, president and chief executive officer, stated, "Last year StatesWest had 16 aircraft in service compared to 13 in operation this October after the fleet reorganization. When you take into account the effect of the USAir/IAM Machinist strike in October, the results are particularly encouraging because of the trend of increasing yields and average ticket fares."
