STATEMENT ISSUED REGARDING KATHLEEN FREDERICK VS. REED SMITH SHAW & McCLAY AND RICHARD GLANTON

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was issued today by the firm of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay:
Various notes taken by psychologists and a psychiatrist of allegations made by Kathleen Frederick in pretrial examinations have recently been released to the public. These allegations were made by Ms. Frederick during pretrial discovery in furtherance of her case. They are the kind of allegations that are inherently not subject to objective verification because of their nature. Throughout the trial, Reed Smith and Richard Glanton have denied the truthfulness of these statements. The jury had these allegations by Ms. Frederick during their deliberations and they reviewed them. Nevertheless, the jury's verdict was that Ms. Frederick was not fired because she terminated an alleged affair with Mr. Glanton. The jury also determined that she should receive nothing whatsoever from the Firm or Mr. Glanton for her claims of sexual harassment.
