 STATEMENT BY UNITED AIRLINES ON AIRCRAFT THREAT
 CHICAGO, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines Flight 46, a Boeing


767-200 from Los Angeles to New York, landed safely at 3:38 p.m. (EST) at John F. Kennedy International Airport without incident today after United had received a threat against the aircraft. Following a normal landing, the aircraft parked at a remote area of the airport for a safe deplanement of all 48 passengers and 10 crew members via portable stairs.
 United is cooperating fully with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is coordinating the investigation. United will not be making additional statements on this matter at this time. Additional inquiries can be directed to the FBI's New York office at 212-335-2700.
