STATE EMPLOYEES RECEIVE LIFE INSURANCE PREMIUM BREAK
DOVER, Del., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- State Treasurer Janet

Rzewnicki, in her role as chairperson of the State Employees of Delaware Group Life Insurance Committee, announced today that participating employees will have their life insurance premiums reduced temporarily.
Rzewnicki said, "The Group Life Committee has approved the use of a premium surplus to temporarily reduce life insurance premiums for state employees. Premiums will be reduced by 50 percent for the period of December 1991 until December 1, 1992. Beginning with the first payroll period in December 1992 premiums will return to their normal level."
Rzewnicki added, "The premium reduction will be for the individual employees coverage only. If the employee is participating in dependent coverage, this portion of the premium will not be reduced. Should any state employee have any question about this temporary rate change they should contact their agency payroll representative."
"We wish to emphasize that there is no change in the amount of life insurance coverage or other conditions, only the premium payment is being reduced for this temporary period of time. The Group Life Committee is pleased to be able to announce this reduction for all participating state employees and they will notice the change in their December paychecks."
