 STATE BAR OF MICHIGAN ANNUAL MEETING BEGINS WEDNESDAY IN LANSING
 The 57th Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Michigan, "A Heritage of Law, A Legacy of Justice," begins Wednesday, Sept. 16, and continues through Friday, Sept. 18, in Lansing. Most events will be held in the Lansing Center and the Radisson Hotel. Highlights of the meeting follow.
 WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 16
 Luncheon: Noon, Hall A, Lansing Center. Principal speaker: Detroit Free Press Publisher Neal Shine. Presentation of the Wade H. McCree Jr. Awards for the Advancement of Justice.
 Section meetings of general interest: Juvenile Law Section, "Overview of Michigan's Families First Program," 9:30 a.m., City Room 2, Lansing Center.
 Evening program: Reception for Michigan's lawyers and judges hosted at their home by Gov. and Mrs. John Engler, 5-7 p.m. Reception and tour, Michigan Library and Historical Center 7-9:30 p.m. New York Times columnist and author Anthony Lewis addresses the Labor Relations Law Section, 7 p.m., Hall A, Lansing Center.
 THURSDAY, SEPT. 17
 Luncheon: Principal speaker, Professor Roger Wilkins, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and commentator. A news conference will be held for Professor Wilkins immediately following the luncheon (at 1:15 p.m.).
 State Bar 150-member Representative Assembly meets 10 a.m., City Rooms 1 & 2, Lansing Center.
 Section meetings of general interest: Alternate Dispute Resolution, "ADR Overview," 2:30 p.m., Capitol Ballroom III, Radisson.
 Evening: Reception and Annual Banquet, 6 p.m., Lansing Center. Principal speaker: Bettina Gregory, ABC News senior correspondent. Presentation of Champion of Justice Awards. Bloomfield Hills attorney George A. Googasian sworn in as 58th State Bar of Michigan president.
 FRIDAY, SEPT. 18
 Luncheon: Principal speaker, Hon. Robert Bork, former judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and U.S. Supreme Court nominee. Judge Bork will hold a news conference, 11:15 a.m., Press Room, Radisson Hotel (Regency Room II).
 Section meetings include a debate on "Cut and Cap" between state Treasurer Douglas Roberts and Rep. H. Lynn Jondahl, chair of the House Taxation Committee, 10 a.m., City Room 2, Lansing Center, sponsored by Public Corporation Law Section.
