START YOUR MARRIAGE OUT ON THE RIGHT FOOT; ANYONE CAN DANCE AT THEIR WEDDING WITH ELEGANCE AND STYLE -- HERE'S HOW

NEW YORK, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Two left feet? Never learned to dance? You can still dance at your wedding with elegance and style, according to veteran dance instructor Chris Reilly.
Reily has produced a 90-minute, full-color videotape, "Wedding Day Dancing" ($19.95, VHS from Step by Step Dancing, 800-531-1320), with which he says almost any couple can quickly learn to perform a wedding waltz and other dances as well.
"Nowhere is the return to tradition and elegance more evident than at today's weddings," says Reilly, who stars in the tape in white tie and tails with his partner, dance instructor Elaine Bayless, in wedding gown. "Sometimes the wedding party and guests have time to brush up their dancing. Too often, they don't. That's where we come in."
The instruction begins with a simple slow waltz and progresses through more elaborate steps. It then does the same with the foxtrot, jitterbug, lindy and triple swing. The instructors switch to rehearsal clothes so steps can be easily followed.
For anyone whose dancing is rusty, said a review in Video Business, "Wedding Day Dancing" provides "an easy-to-follow cure."
Camera shots of the couple are from behind to make it easier for the viewer to follow along. According to Reilly, "Wedding Day Dancing" contains the equivalent of ten hours of studio instruction. It comes with a list of more than 200 popular wedding day songs arranged by type of music.
The pace of instruction, wrote Andy Wickstrom in the Philadelphia Inquirer, "is so unhurried that even the most awkward student will not feel left behind."
"A live instructor is best, but if that's inconvenient or too costly, this is a great alternative," Reilly says. "And it is a part of preparing for the wedding the soon-to-be wed couple can really enjoy together."
