 STARS OF DISNEY'S NEW SERIES 'GOOF TROOP' DOMINATE SEATTLE
 WHO: Goofy introduces his son, Max, to Seattle -- in a big
 way -- "30 feet big," to be specific.
 WHAT: Not only are thousands of broadcasting professionals
 flocking to Seattle for this year's BPME & BDA Conference
 and Exposition -- Buena Vista Television is sending a
 giant inflatable of Goofy and his 11-year-old son, Max,
 stars of the new animated series "Goof Troop!"
 WHEN: Set-up begins at 8 p.m., Sunday, June 14; Goofy and Max
 inflatable in position until 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 16.
 You are welcome at any time.
 WHERE: Seattle Center, at the Space Needle base, facing Broad
 Street
 WOW: -- Goofy stands 30 feet high; son Max stands 20 feet high
 -- Over 5,000 cubic feet of cold air inflates the
 characters
 -- Over 275 yards of custom colored, vinyl-covered nylon
 was sewn together with five miles of thread to create
 the inflatable
 -- Goofy's ears are 6 feet long and his grin measures
 13 feet from ear to ear
 -- Goofy's shoe size is ... How do you "size" feet
 measuring 7 feet long?
 -- Max's Walkman measures 30 inches (h) x 30 inches (w) x
 18 inches (d) and the wires for his headphones are 25
 feet long
 -- Max's shoelaces measure 15 feet each
 Goofy and Max would love to have their picture taken or appear on camera. Buena Vista Spokespersons Sal Sardo and Sharon Yokoi and Bigger then Life Inc. spokesperson Ann Wawer (creator of the inflatables) are available to answer questions.
