STARQUEST MAKES AVAILABLE NEW UPGRADE TO STARSQL DRIVER.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-(C) 1994-9 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD StarQuest Software Inc has released StarSQL 3.0, the latest version of its flagship product designed to provide seamless access to IBM's DB2 databases from Microsoft Windows-based desktop applications or through custom-tailored applications built with tools such as Visual Basic and PowerBuilder. The upgrade offers a two-phase commit capability, enabling users to interact with data in multiple databases on multiple host platforms. Other new features include support for Unix and ODBC v3, and a database connection wizard to simplify installation. StarSQL 3.0 is available in two editions, StarSQL Pro for NT and Unix servers, priced from US$4,495, and Star SQL Enterprise Edition, which is bundled with Cisco's Transaction Connection or Star Pipes products.
