STARLOG STORMS INTO GARDEN STATE PLAZA MALL

 PARAMUS, N.J., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, Nov. 20, Starlog(R): The Comic & Science Fiction Universe(TM) (NASDAQ: SIFI) becomes a science fiction fact at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J.
 Starlog combines the realms of science fiction, fantasy and horror into a fantastically designed 2,860-square-foot facility and brings to Garden State Plaza a collection of over 5,000 retail items geared towards anyone between the ages of 8 and 80 with a penchant for fun and games, comics and collectibles, futuristic fashions and humorous horror.
 Joining Starlog for this Grand Opening celebration will be Marvel's(R) X-Men(R) character Storm(R). This will be Storm's(R) first live appearance anywhere and she will be joined by the Amazing Spider- Man(R). Both of these super heroes will partake in The Santa's Arrival Parade at the Garden State Plaza and afterward will be at Starlog(R) to meet and greet all their fans.
 Founded in July of 1992, Starlog intends to open franchised and company-owned Starlog stores. The president and CEO are a father- and- son team, Steven and Norman Jacobs. Steven Jacobs is o?ung entrepreneur and successful producer of three festival acclaimed Hollywood horror movies: "Mindwarp," "Children Of The Night" and "Severed Ties," all of which were released in 1992. Norman Jacobs, CEO of Starlog, is also the chairman of the board of Starlog Communications International, Inc., a New York City-based company which publishes over 20 popular magazines including Starlog, Fangoria and Comic Scene.
