STARLOG FRANCHISE CORP. FILES WITH SEC FOR INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING

 NEW YORK, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Starlog Franchise Corp. (Starlog), a New Jersey corporation, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a registration statement for a proposed initial public offering by the company of 1 million common shares at an expected public offering price of between $5 and $6 per share.
 Starlog is engaged in marketing and selling franchises and establishing wholly owned or joint-venture retail Starlog Stores. Each Starlog Store will sell comic books, science fiction and supernatural magazines, books, games, toys, videos, compact discs, apparel, jewelry, pins and general memorabilia, trading cards, jokes, tricks, candy, and similar and related merchandise under the names "Starlog" and "Starlog: The Comic & Science Fiction Universe." Merchandise to be offered by a Starlog Store will typically include, among others, products licensed under the names "Star Trek," "Star Wars," "Marvel Comics" and "DC Comics."
 The proposed offering will be made by Emanuel and Company, 110 Wall St., New York, N.Y. 10005, from whom a prospectus may be obtained.
 A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
