 STARENSIER SEALS DEAL WITH JAPANESE AGENCY
 NEWBURYPORT, Mass., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Starensier Inc.,


leaders in footwear textile manufacturing and finishing worldwide, announced a new affiliation with the Japanese agency, Foot Techno Inc., today.
 According to Richard VanDernoot, chairman of Starensier, "We have selected Foot Techno because of its abilities and commitment to develop and distribute high-performance material for the shoe industry. Foot Techno continues our goal of delivering footwear product innovations around the world. This new affiliation is just one more step in that direction."
 The agency is headquartered in Kobe with eight full-time sales representatives. According to Minoru Fujita, executive managing director of Foot Techno, "We are very pleased to represent such a well-established and innovative company as Starensier in our country. We have a strong sales network in Japan and we work aggressively in the market to bring comfort and style to our customers."
 Among other products distributed exclusively by Starensier, Foot Techno will introduce Puddle Coating, Tietex and Du Pont products such as Thermax, Coolmax and Lycra to the Japanese market.
