 STARDOG/MERCURY RECORDS RE-RELEASE MOTHER LOVE BONE MATERIAL;
 MOTHER LOVE BONE FEATURED IN CAMERON CROWE FILM 'SINGLES'
 NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Stardog/Mercury Records has re-released material from Mother Love Bone. A double-CD package, Mother Love Bone, combines the band's 1989 EP "Shine" and their first full-length album, "Apple," released in 1990. The second CD consists of the never-before-released track "Lady Godiva Blues" and the additional "Capricorn Sister," from the Shine EP.
 Mother Love Bone, a young band out of Seattle, have left their mark on the music scene as the forerunners of the "Seattle sound." The original band consisted of singer, Andrew Wood (Malfunkshun), drummer Greg Gilmore (10 minute Warning, which included future Guns 'N' Roses bassist Duff McKagen), bassist Jeff Ament and guitarists Stone Gossard and Bruce Fairweather. After the tragic death of Andrew Wood just before Apple's release, an album tribute to Wood entitled Temple Of The Dog, featuring members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, was released and is currently gaining impressive chart action. Mother Love Bone members Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament went on to form the now explosive band Pearl Jam.
 Mother Love Bone's "Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns" is on the "Singles" soundtrack, from Cameron Crowe's current film.
