STAR ENTERTAINERS BOOKED FOR ROYAL CARIBBEAN'S HOLIDAY CRUISES

MIAMI, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Headline entertainers have been booked for all 17 of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's holiday cruises during the Christmas and New Year's season.
"We're offering more special holiday cruises than ever before," said Rod McLeod, executive vice president Sales, Marketing and Passenger Services. "We wanted our passengers to enjoy some special entertainment during this festive season, so we're flying our stars from ship to ship."
Some of America's favorite singers and comedians will be aboard the nine ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet, including Steve Allen, the Platters, Phyllis Diller, Norm Crosby, Yakov Smirnoff, the Fifth Dimension, Florence Henderson, Jim Stafford, Jerry Van Dyke, Bobby Rydell, Charo, Richard Jeni, Mary Wilson, Bowser & the Sting Rays, Scott Record, Vic Damone and the Captain and Tennille.
Other festive highlights of Royal Caribbean's holiday cruises include holiday dinner menus, lavish decorations, visits by Santa Claus with gifts for every passenger, gala New Year's Eve celebrations, religious services and a special maritime tradition of hoisting an evergreen tree to the top of each ship's mast.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is the world's largest cruise brand by passenger capacity and operates nine modern ships. Royal Caribbean has signed contracts to build two 1,800-passenger ships for delivery in 1995 and 1996, with an option to build a third for delivery in 1997. The award-winning vessels of the Royal Caribbean fleet offer more than 50 different itineraries and call at over 100 destinations in the Mediterranean, Bermuda, Scandinavia, Alaska, Bahamas, Mexico, Panama Canal, Russia and the Caribbean.
