STAR EDITOR VOWS TO UNVEIL HIS MAGAZINE'S NEW ALLEGATIONS BY GENNIFER
FLOWERS AGAINST BILL CLINTON TONIGHT ON CNBC'S 'TALK LIVE'
STAR Editor Richard Kaplan has promised to preview his magazine's latest story about Gennifer Flowers' relationship with Democratic presidential candidate Bill Clinton in an exclusive television interview on CNBC's "Talk Live" tonight at 9 p.m., EST.
Guest-host Dave Sims will probe the legitimacy of the STAR's reports and examine the methods by which the STAR claims to have substantiated Flower's accusations. CNBC viewers will have a chance to call-in and air their views on the controversy.
The STAR was the first to print Flowers' claims of a 12-year affair with Democratic front-runner Bill Clinton. While Kaplan expects the STAR's second article -- due to hit newsstands on Monday -- to further fuel the debate over Clinton's qualifications for the presidency, another growing debate among Americans is whether last week's STAR article has been given too much credence. "Talk Live" will examine this issue.
"Talk Live" is CNBC's live talk/call-in series which features "guest" hosts from a wide variety of fields and interviews on a broad spectrum of topics. The program also has call-in segments in which viewers are encouraged to pose questions and voice their opinions. "Talk Live" airs Fridays and Satrudays at 9 p.m., EST and is repeated at 1 a.m.
CNBC is a 24-hour cable television network offering live business and financial news in daytime, personally-relevant information-based programs on weeknight and interview, talk and call-in programs on weekends. Available in more than 45 million homes across the United States and Canada, CNBC is owned by NBC.
