STANALAJCZO APPOINTED PRESIDENT -- CDI COMPUTER SERVICES, INC.
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Greg C. Stanalajczo has been appointed president -- CDI Computer Services, Inc. The announcement was made by Walter R. Garrison, president and chairman of CDI Corp., (NYSE: CDI). As president, Stanalajczo, 34, has profit-and-loss responsibility for CDI Computer Services and will report to Mark Garrison, president of CDI Systems Services Group. Stanalajczo will be responsible for expanding computer services offerings nationwide, beginning in nine states and eventually encompassing more than 40 states. "Greg is one of those rare individuals who is a thinker, doer and self-starter that always has the end objective in mind," Garrison said. "It has been his concepts and determination that have shaped CDI Computer Services into the company it is today. His leadership also has contributed to the outstanding growth rate and high-quality workforce of the company." Stanalajczo's stewardship at CDI Computer Services over the past six years has been a number of milestones, including partnership agreements with computer hardware vender Silicon Graphics; engineering software companies, Alias, Wavefront and Aries Technology; a strategic alliance with Ameritech to provide local area networking services; and the recent expansion into offering computer consulting and systems integration through sister division Innovative Information Systems, Inc. (IISI) in Norwood, Mass. Previously, Stanalajczo was vice president of CDI Computer Services and sister division, Modern Engineering, where he held similar responsibilities. Prior to joining Modern Engineering in 1987, Stanalajczo owned and operated a direct-placement employment agency specializing in computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) specialists. He earned a bachelor of science degree in human resource development with a specialization in training and development from Oakland University, in Rochester Hills, Mich. Stanalajczo is a member of the Computer and Automated Systems Association of the Society of Mechanical Engineers (SME), the Data Processing Management Association (DPMA), and the Engineering Society of Detroit.
