ST. PAUL CHAPTER RED CROSS RECEIVES $3,000; LOCAL SUBWAY STORES AID VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS

ST. PAUL, Minn., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Local Subway owners, manager and employees joined forces today and contributed $3,000 to the St. Paul Chapter, American Red Cross to support the victims and survivors of the explosion that rocked St. Paul last Thursday.
Subway feels a personal sadness and loss as one of their valued employees and manager, Donna Guthrie, was a victim of the July 22 disaster. It was Guthrie's enthusiasm and dedication that made customers at the Hillcrest Shopping Center location always feel special. Her co-workers appreciated her willingness to listen, support and pitch in when needed.
In keeping with Guthrie's spirit, this donation from Subway to the Red Cross will help to cover costs associated with her memorial service as well as help to assist the other victims, survivors and their families.
Cash donations to the Red Cross help provide simple needs such as food, shelter and clothing on an emergency basis as well as help with long term needs such as rent, damage deposits, groceries, eyeglasses, medications, furniture, and any other needs individuals may incur.
