 SRI CONSULTANT DISCUSSES PROACTIVE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
 How to Manage a Profit Center in the 1990's
 PALO ALTO, Calif., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert D. Shelton, a member of the management team of the International Business Consulting Group and director of the Worldwide Environmental Consulting Practice at SRI International, will discuss practicing proactive environmental management at a meeting of the Churchill Club, Thursday evening, March 12, at Rickeys Hyatt in Palo Alto.
 Shelton manages SRI's interdisciplinary consulting teams on environmental projects for major corporations. Some of his recent work includes:
 -- Development of a strategic environmental risk management plan for a major oil and chemicals company
 -- Formulation of environmental principles and assessment of loan portfolio risks and opportunities for a major bank
 -- Characterization of current and future environmental risks for an international manufacturer of electrical generation, transmission and distribution equipment
