Pro and anti-Brexit protesters clashed in Parliament Square yesterday.

About 200 people joined a pro-Brexit demo organised by the Democratic Football Lads Alliance (DFLA). But some were angry when a small number of people from the anti-Brexit group March for Change began to set up for a rally of their own.

They were verbally abused before a beer can was thrown towards them. Police on horseback intervened.

March for Change said they were forced to cancel the flying of a Boris Johnson blimp for fear it would be attacked.
