SPRING AND SUMMER CRUISE BOOKINGS ON THE UPSWING
FOR COMPUTER TRAINING CLASSES AT SEA
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Despite recessionary times, bookings for P.C. Professor's spring and summer computer training seminars aboard luxury cruise ships have gained momentum. P.C. Professor is a Los Angeles-based computer training firm which has recently created and launched this dynamic new concept in computer education and cruise travel.
This unique approach to travel is perfect for the individual who would love to take a vacation but in the present economic climate finds justification for the expense difficult. Comments travel agent Becky Robert of Robert's Travel, Rochester, N.Y.: "At a time when the consumer has to think twice about a vacation, it's great to be able to combine a relaxing cruise with a few hours of something constructive. They're additionally gaining great computer skills that in some ways validates such a trip."
P.C. Professor offers discounts of up to 40 percent off regular cruise rates and customized lessons in programs such as WordPerfect, Lotus 123, Pagemaker and more. Most training is performed while the ship is at sea and does not conflict with extensive shore excursions offered by cruise lines. With an increase in corporate and group meetings aboard ships, many companies can also offer the added incentive of customized computer training through P.C. Professor.
Costa Cruise Line's newly inaugurated "Euro Luxe" CostaClassica is the ship for P.C. Professor's April 18 sailing to the Western Caribbean, including Ocho Rios, Grand Caymen and Cozumel. Sailings are also scheduled for Alaska on Holland America's MS Westerdam in August and on NCL's magnificent Norway over Thanksgiving. In addition to pre- scheduled sailings, P.C. Professor will confirm and custom design "seminar at sea" programs for any group, ship or itinerary.
