SPORTS-TECH ENTERS HOCKEY, BASEBALL AND SOCCER MARKETS FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Sports-Tech
International, Inc. (NASDAQ: STXL) today announced that it has received orders for its proprietary Sports-Tech Video Editor from the California Angels baseball team and National Hockey League teams; Vancouver Canucks, Winnipeg Jets, Quebec Nordiques and New Jersey Devils.
Sports-Tech also announced the introduction of a new model of the Video Editor for the international soccer market. That product will be test-marketed in England later this month. These orders represent Sports-Tech's entry into three new sports markets and reinforces the compnay's belief that many types of programs can effectively benefit from the use of computerized video editing systems. Sports-Tech's customer base now includes 14 NFL teams, 12 NBA teams, one major league baseball team, four NHL teams, 127 college football and basketball teams and 78 high school football teams. Sports-Tech recently had a change of control when Bristol Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRST) purchased 57.7 percent of its common stock from Lexicon Corporation (NASDAQ: LEXI).
