SPORTS LETTERS: Heskey is a nag.

Byline: K HILES

WATCHING an item about Shire Horses on television, it struck me footballers are very similar.

Big and powerful at the start of their career, they then slow down and are sold to a different farmer who works them for a while before, again, they are sold off to the highest bidder to finish their working lives.

But unlike Shirehorses footballers are a very expensive item to have running around a field doing nothing.

Steve Bruce take heed.
