SPORTS BETTING: FOOTBALL : Brilliant Celts now 1-25 for SPL joy.
CELTIC were slashed from 1-8 to as short as 1-25 for the SPL title after a dramatic 3-2 win over Hearts at Tynecastle, writes Mark Langdon. The Bhoys were trailing 2-0 a fter Edgaras Jankauskas and Steven Pressley gave Hearts a huge advantage inside ten minutes before the Glasgow giants staged a remarkable second-half comeback which caused chaos for in-running Betfair punters.
Hearts were matched at 1.14, yet Stephen Pearson gave Gordon Strachan's team hope and Stephen McManus levelled matters with three minutes left.
At that stage, the draw was trading at 1.12, yet the drama was not over and McManus bundled over an injury-time winner to the delight of those who backed the Bhoys at 60.
McManus's double was also great news for Spreadwise followers who took Stuart Carruthers' advice to buy the centre-back's goal minutes at two. The make-up was 177.
Spreadex were lowest on McManus and trader Paul Barker said: "We lost just under pounds 15,000 with one punter buying his goal minutes for pounds 30 at just two."
