Live cricket

Sky Sports 1, 10.30am

Non-stop coverage on the same channel is something only the satellite lads can provide but, even then, you would still be happy to miss a few overs so long as it wasn't when David Lloyd was at the mike.

Bumble's early days as opening bat then coach were clearly just marking time for a career in the commentary box and so consummate is he that heaven right now would be the Ashes series with Lloyd, Benaud and Blofeld doing the honours.

Purgatory would be Colville and Willis with Gary Richardson on roving reporter detail.
