SPLA is coercing SU administration due to personal interests: SU Spokesman.

JAMSHORO -- Sindh University spokesman has categorically refuted fake changes leveled by a few individuals using SPLA platform, terming them baseless. The spokesman said that some elements at SU-affiliated collages dislike due to personal vested interest recent reform initiatives launched by SU that include containing use of unfair means during annual examinations and award of invigilation duties to varsity and college teachers strictly in accordance with the varsity rules and policy. The spokesman explained that invigilation duties are awarded by the office of the controller examinations (Annual) on seniority, merit and rotation criteria; which has been recommended by a high- profile committee comprising representation from varsity as well as college teachers.
The committee consists of a Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean, Controllers of examinations and Directors College Education Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas regions. The spokesman further said that there has not been any increase whatsoever in fee for the last three years; and that the examination policy 2017-2018 had also been discussed by the SU administration with the SPLA as well as Directors Colleges, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas region, thus earning unanimous agreement. The spokesman said the varsity will carry on with its principled stance and would not buckle before any blackmailing by any quarters with vested interests and ulterior motives. The spokesman concluded that a section of individuals in SPLA wanted the controller of examinations to award invigilation duty to some teachers favorite them; upon refusal they started a malicious campaigned against him.
