      SPAGHETTI WAREHOUSE SIGNS FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
                      WITH BMK INTERNATIONAL
    GARLAND, Texas, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Spaghetti Warehouse, Inc. (NYSE: SWH), which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange, announced that on Dec. 20, 1991, it signed a Franchised Development Agreement with BMK International Corporation, a privately held company headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn.  The franchise agreement provides for the establishment of three restaurants within a five-year period in the areas of Tennessee and Alabama.
    Beth Bright, director of Bright Development, Inc., is the principal owner and will serve as chief financial officer of BMK International Corporation.  Tim Moore, formerly with Spaghetti Warehouse, will serve as chief operating officer.
    Spaghetti Warehouse, Inc. has now signed two multi-unit franchise agreements within the month of December 1991.  The first was with the Spaghetti Works Restaurant Company of Omaha, Neb. to develop franchised stores over a five-year period in Kansas as well as have an option to convert its stores to the Spaghetti Warehouse concept in Iowa and Nebraska.
    Spaghetti Warehouse, Inc. operates 20 company-owned restaurants under the name "The Spaghetti Warehouse" in Texas, Ohio, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Rhode Island.  It currently has restaurants under construction in Columbia, S.C.; Norfolk, Va.; and Cleveland, Ohio, for scheduled openings in February, March and April 1992.  The restaurants feature a menu of moderately priced Italian food served in a family oriented, nostalgic and casual atmosphere.
