SOUTHWEST CAFES, INC., ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES DALLAS, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Cafes, Inc.
(NASDAQ: TXMX), today announced that its board of directors has changed the company's management structure. Effective today, the company will be managed by its executive committee, which consists of the following five directors: Gilbert Cuellar Jr., chairman of the board; Grahame N. Clark Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of BancTec, Inc.; Jack D. Knox, chairman and chief executive officer of Sixx Holdings, Incorporated; Joseph V. Mariner Jr., investor; and Joe S. Thomson, El Chico Restaurant Franchisee for seven El Chico restaurants. Thomson will serve as chairman of the newly appointed executive committee.
In further business, the company's board of directors has formed a search committee consisting of six members of its board. Joseph V. Mariner will act as chairman of that committee. The purpose of the newly constituted search committee will be to conduct a search for a chief executive officer for the company. Management does not contemplate any further changes at this time.
