NEWSBOY'S 1-2-3 1 WHISKEY SOUR 2 LOOK MY WAY 3 CLEONTE WHISKEY SOUR has plenty in his favour despite having to concede weight all round.

The two-and-a-halfmiler has been farmed by National Hunt trainers in recent years, with Willie Mullins capturing three of the past six runnings.

Whiskey Sour did well for Closutton over obstacles during the winter, with a Grade 1 success at Leopardstown over Christmas and a third in Cheltenham's County Hurdle two high spots.

The five-year-old was two from two on the Flat in 2017, scoring over two miles and a furlong at the Galway Festival in July before defying a 7lb penalty over a mile and a half at the same fixture four days later.

There is a 9lb higher mark to contend with here, but the extreme distance may tease out further progress from Christophe Soumillon's mount.

My selection's stablemate Chelkar looks fascinating, with Dannyday, Look My Way and Cleonte three others capable of having a say.
