SONY ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING JOINS BLOCKBUSTER'S CD-ROM SOFTWARE RENTAL PROGRAM

 NEW YORK, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Electronic Publishing Co., a leader in interactive entertainment and CD-ROM software, today announced its participation in Blockbuster Entertainment's CD-ROM software rental program.
 "Sony Electronic Publishing believes that CD-ROM will shortly become the medium of choice for computer software," said Peter Dille, marketing director, Sony Electronic Publishing. "CD-ROM is very much in vogue today and aggressive marketing programs like Blockbuster's rental program will bring the appeal of multimedia off the business page and into neighborhood stores," he added.
 Among the CD-ROM titles that Sony Electronic Publishing will have available at Blockbuster are: Media Design Interactive's "Dinosaurs," "Cute 'n' Cuddlies," and "Creepy Crawlies;" The Sales Curve's "Lawnmower Man;" and CyberDream's "CyberRace" and "Dark Seed." Sony Electronic Publishing also distributes a broad range of computer software for the retail marketplace.
