SOLAR FINANCIAL COMMON STOCK DELISTED BY NASDAQ

MIAMI, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Solar Financial Services, Inc. ("Solar" or the "company") announced today that on Oct. 12, 1993 Solar Financial Services, Inc. was notified in writing by NASDAQ that the company's request for an exception to the NASDAQ filing requirement that it timely file its Form 10-KSB for the fiscal year ended May 31, 1993 was denied and that the company's shares of common stock were being delisted from the NASDAQ Small Cap Market effective Oct. 12 (the "NASDAQ Correspondence").
"We are disappointed about NASDAQ's decision to delist our securities, but we strongly believe that once Price Waterhouse, our independent auditors, complete our annual audit and, we are current with our annual and quarterly filings, we will be in a position to promptly reapply for NASDAQ listing. Despite the disruption in the trading of the company's securities, the company continues its normal sales and financing operations from locations in Dade County and Broward County, Florida. Our effort and sales are strong. Management continues to appreciate the support, patience and understanding of its shareholders while the company continues to work with Price Waterhouse to complete the company's annual audit," said David L. Pavsner, the company's president.
The NASDAQ Correspondence states that the delisting occurred because the company's filing of its Form 10-KSB was more than 30 days delinquent. NASDAQ has informed the company that the company may seek to relist its shares of common stock on the NASDAQ system once the company provides audited financial statements evidencing compliance with the financial and other stated NASDAQ listing requirements and is current in its quarterly and annual filings.
The company intends to promptly apply for relisting upon completion of its annual audit and the filing of its Form 10-KSB.
Solar is engaged in the sales and financing of used automobiles, vans and light trucks, operating auto depots in Dade and Broward counties, Florida.
