SOHAIB STARS IN UBL 2ND WIN IN Naya Nazimabad KARACHI KINGS RAMADAN CRICKET.

Karachi -- Brilliant Sohaib Maqsood again starred in United Bank Ltd (UBL) second successive win when they whipped lowly rated Agha Estate by nine wickets in the Rs. 1.97 Million 5th Naya Nazimabad Karachi Kings Ramadan Cup T20 Cricket Tournament here at Lawai Cricket Stadium.

International Sohaib, who won the man of the match award against Electricon Friday night, again hammered an unbeaten 51 in 42 balls spiced with three sixes and as many boundaries.

He also took a wicket and was adjudged man of the match in a low scoring encounter. He got cash award of Rs.5000 for his effort.

Electing to bat first, Agha Estate crashed for 86 with three balls of 20 overs remaining. Sami-ur-Rehman showed any resistance with stubborn 20 which included a solitary boundary.

International left arm spinner Mohammad Asghar and southpaw pacer Mir Hamza caused the main damage in Agha Estate batting by claiming two wickets apiece in a tight spell of bowling.

Thanks to Sohaib's attacking half century, UBL coasted to victory for the loss of just one wickets in 14 overs before a sizeable crowed watching the game. Umar Siddique cracked three fours in his 29 to extend good support to Sohaib.

With their back to back victory in 'B' UBL enhanced their chances for the berth in last eight rounds. They will face holders Sui Northern Gas Pipeline in their last league round on 12th Ramadan.

Latter Chief guests Former Test Cricketer Nadeem Khan was presented Man of the match Award to Sohaib Maqsood ( UBL). Imran ul Haque Financial Controller Javedan Corporation Limited, Architecture Javedan Corporation Limited Naveed Hasan, and member trounament committee Khalid Yasin also scene in the picture.
