SWANSEA 1 PETERBOROUGH 0 PAULO SOUSA insisted Swansea's star midfielder Ferrie Bodde was not rushed back after lasting just 28 minutes after five months out injured.

Dutchman Bodde was due for a scan yesterday to find out the extent of the injury that stretches back to November 2008.

That is when the pounds 5millionrated midfielder suffered cruciate ligament damage to his left knee.

"It could have happened in the first training session," said Portuguese manager Sousa.'' David Cotterill grabbed the only goal from the penalty spot on 19 minutes after being tripped by Charlie Lee, whom he had earlier dispossessed.
