"The lack of a consolidated electronic information source in the media and communications field presented a gap we felt SNL could fill with our trademark level of depth and accessibility," said Dan Seideman, SNL group director. "We've integrated all relevant information into a single, accurate database that's available online and updated around the clock."
SNL Media & Communications coverage includes more than 260 companies spread across the sector and provides data and metrics unique to each sub-industry, such as subscriber counts, churn rates, revenue per user, advertising revenue splits, EBITDA, free cash flow, and leverage statistics.
Additional content includes comprehensive M & A data, capital offerings, conference call transcripts, investor presentations, and institutional ownership. Users can also access asset-level and regulatory data such as Wireless License ownership with mapping and demographics; and ARMIS or Local Phone Regulatory Financials sourced from the FCC.
