SNAPE SUCCEEDS JENNINGS AS HEAD OF
WASHINGTON OFFICE OF HILL AND KNOWLTON
WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Dale W. Snape, managing partner of the Wexler Group division of Hill and Knowlton, Inc., today was named general manager of Hill and Knowlton's Washington office, the largest public relations/public affairs operation in the nation's capital.
The appointment of Snape, who also will continue working with Wexler Group clients, was announced by Craig Fuller, president and CEO of Hill and Knowlton USA. He succeeds James C. Jennings, whose appointment as chief of staff to Thomas E. Eidson, president and CEO of Hill and Knowlton, Inc., was also announced today.
Snape joined the Wexler Group, a Washington-based government relations and public affairs firm, in 1982 after five years in the White House Office of Management and Budget as a budget examiner. His first assignment was working with the Motion Picture Association of America, which remains a Wexler client.
Fuller said, "Not only is Dale an extremely able manager but he brings a decade of experience in providing Washington counsel to a wide range of clients. We are delighted to have him head our Washington team."
As general manager, Snape will oversee 140 employees, which constitutes the largest office of its kind in Washington. Snape, a resident of McLean, Va., holds undergraduate and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
