SNAP'S VERSION 5.0 OFFERS IMPROVED FLEXIBILITY, EASE OF USE
FOR FULL INTEGRATION OF MARKETING, SALES & SERVICE
MANCHESTER, N.H., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- A refined user interface, contact and account orientations, parent/subsidiary linking and 30 new user-defined fields for full integration of an organization's marketing, sales and service arms mark the new SNAP version 5.0 from the SNAP Software Group of Sales Technologies, Inc.
Other enhancements include a significant security upgrade, field mapping capabilities, stored import/export criteria and set-up and support for team selling and management across distributed sites. As well, SNAP 5.0 features "Transactions," a powerful and sophisticated data movement function enabling users to exchange updates, additions or deletions to account information between separate or geographically dispersed SNAP databases.
"SNAP 5.0 has the flexibility to address what any group involved in selling and customer relations needs from a comprehensive system," says SNAP CEO Jim Leavey. "Users can now create and maintain client profiles with extraordinary sophistication and accuracy."
According to Leavey, SNAP's one-key concept is the basis for a new user interface that makes navigation throughout the system practically effortless and enables users to incorporate virtually any selling methodology into their SNAP system. A SNAPshot, or "Quickview," of an entire account and/or contact profile is available. All options are presented in pull down menus and clearly identifiable "hot keys" are present throughout the system to activate the desired function without having to select it from the menu.
Existing SNAP users can easily upgrade to 5.0, with no need to re- enter data. SNAP 5.0 runs on the IBM Personal System/2 (PS/2) and compatibles, laptops and on industry standard networks (LANs and WANs). Additionally, this new version has multiple representative account sharing, a choice of European or U.S. date formats as well as the flexibility to tailor the system to meet your business needs.
Availability is set for June 19. The SNAP system is licensed in three ways: single user, volume purchase or network license. The package is priced at $1,500 per single license, with volume discount and network versions available. SNAP also offers a Total Solution Package (TSP), designed to ensure optimum implementation of SNAP, including software, consulting services, training and support, and providing an average overall savings of 20 percent.
Founded in 1983 by former IBM salespeople Jim Leavey and Mary Sennett, the SNAP Software Group provides the products, experience, training and services for a total solution to a company's sales, marketing and service systems needs. In December 1991, SNAP was acquired by Atlanta, Ga.-based Sales Technologies, Inc. Sales Technologies is a company of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.
