FlightCheck Online, a solution from Markzware, a developer of quality assurance, data conversion and workflow solutions, has been selected by SMG Group in Hasselt, a graphic arts company, to preflight PDF and other graphic arts files via the Internet.

According to SMG Group, the solution checks files for various print-work which the company provides for its customers and offers an archive and retrieval system, along with full connectivity to the current SMG portal. It confirmed FlightCheck Online produces log files with preflight information relating to the files sent and features an administration interface.

FlightCheck Online enables the client to create an account, download and install client application software and use it as soon as they have received their password. Markzware claimed the solution enables digital files to be delivered and processed in the shortest time possible, allows users to work with it immediately and ensures companies can add customised functionality.

SMG Group uses the solution to automate its preflight and file delivery and said it provides an overview for the customer as soon as an error or inconsistency is detected, informing the customer of how to adjust or fix the problem.
