 SMALL MARKETING FIRM MAKES BIG IMPACT ON ATLANTA
 ATLANTA, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marcioni Group's month began


with the follow-up from "The Fourth Annual Mayor's Invitational Tennis Tournament," an annual event for The Marcioni Group, which was held on May 30 to benefit the West End Boys & Girls Clubs.
 The event includes Mayor Maynard Jackson and an informal breakfast at City Hall.
 The Marcioni Group was chosen as the marketing firm to produce and kick off the Hank Aaron Rookie League. The logo design, marketing materials and uniforms were designed by The Marcioni Group. Partners on the project included U.S. Housing and Urban Development, Atlanta Housing Authority, Turner Broadcasting, Atlanta Braves, Private Industry Council and many others. The project created a league of 72 teams from inner city housing commmunities which will participate in the year-round youth sports program. The kick-off of the league received national recognition on June 13 and featured David Justice and Hank Aaron.
 Also in June, The Marcioni Group coordinated the Ultimate All American Experience at American Adventures/Whitewater Park. This was a nine-day baseball event which featured over 30 Major League Baseball Alumni members and current players such as Greg Olson, Juan Berenguer, Rafael Belliard, Braves coach Pat Corrales, Dodgers Coach Ben Hines, autographs from Steve Avery and a television commercial that featured David Justice.
 June 29, The Marcioni Group coordinated the first annual "Nalley Lexus Celebrity Open" Golf Tournament at the Country Club of the South. This tournament features many upper level executives who will be paired with over 18 celebrity and pro golfers. Special guest players include Falcon player William Andrews, LPGA players Terri Luckhurst and Rosie Jones, former Falcon Mick Luckhurst, Phil Neikro, Jeff Van Note, Georgia Basketball coach Hugh Durham, former Seattle Seahawk and Falcon Rick Donnelly, former Baltimore Colt Jim Orr, Major League Baseball Alumni members Phil Neikro, Darrel Chaney, Marty Perez, George Vukovick, Dick Ruthven, one armed golf champion Joshua Patton, and touring pro Tim Conly.
