SLOW SPINNING: This is designed to improve the ability orthe inner ear to respond to movement. It must be initiated slowly and carefully, with a chair nearby for grabbing if your balance wavers. Stand at the back of the chair, with your eyes on a focal point about six feet in front of you on the floor or wall. Spread your arms into a T and turn to the right, spinning slowly; step carefully around until you face forward again. Keep your eyes on the focal point as you rotate to minimize dizziness. Start with three slow turns, gradually increasing the number of turns and your speed.
