SlickEdit Inc. has released SlickEdit 2013. This version introduces a new document tab interface to the powerful editor. Other key enhancements include additional beautifier and language support. SlickEdit 2013 is the premier cross-platform, multi-language code editor that gives programmers the ability to code in over 50 languages on 9 platforms including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac OS X. In addition to this flexibility, SlickEdit allows developers to smoothly handle large projects of over 40,000 files and to use SlickEdit's macro language, Slick-C, to extend the editor to their personal style. It also offers 15 strong emulations for anyone who is migrating from another editor, among other powerful features.

We're excited to introduce the document tab interface in SlickEdit 2013. This feature greatly improves multi-file editing and utilization of screen real estate, which is perfect for the growing number of programmers working across multiple monitors today," commented Clark Maurer, CEO. Now that SlickEdit has reengineered the entire graphics engine, multi-document interface, beautifiers, and more, it should be very clear to customers that we will continue to take the necessary engineering steps to make SlickEdit the ultimate in power and flexibility on multiple platforms!

SlickEdit 2013 pricing starts at $299 for new licenses. SlickEdit also offers the SlickEdit Core for Eclipse plugin. Visit for free trial downloads and more information about SlickEdit Inc.
